Holistic care doesn't focus on simply one or two signs or symptoms; it works to treat the mind, body and spirit. Most holistic treatment options are based on nature, and include few chemicals that are foreign to the human body.

Holistic medicine is nothing "mystical" or mysterious; it's much more real than most people realize. In order to increase the positive effects of medical treatement, it's necessary that the treating practitioner get to know the patient as an individual. What a concept huh? Does your doctor take the time to get to know you?

Believe it or not, there are lot more medical treatments than conventional medicine would like you to know about. I'm not saying doctor's don't have a place in your medical care; I would never tell you not to see your doctor. However, there are many forms of alternative medicine such as homeopathic medicine, massage therapy, aromatherapy, bio-feedback, nutrition counselling, etc. Each of these approaches focuses on you as an individual so you have your needs addressed in a way that's comfortable for you and that works to alleviate not only the symptoms, but the root cause of your problems.
